🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and test planning tools for DWDM, OTN, ROADM, GMPLS, etc.
- Create and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases
- Perform system, functional, regression, and integration testing
- Simulate real-world telecom network scenarios
- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to resolve technical issues
- Document test results and improve QA methodologies
- Share feedback on UX and software functionality
🎓 Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Computer Science, or related field
- 0 to 2 years of experience in optical networking or QA/testing
- Good understanding of Layer 0/1/2 networks, traffic engineering, and telecom protocols
- Hands-on with planning/design tools and network simulation software
- Familiarity with optical technologies (DWDM, ROADM, Ethernet, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITU-T, MEF, and IEEE standards
- Experience with bug tracking tools and test automation (Python, Selenium, REST API)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Agile/DevOps exposure is a plus
