🔧 Job Overview – Graduate Engineering Trainee (Electrical & Controls)
This is a training-focused role designed to help fresh graduates build practical knowledge in electrical design, control systems, and automation. Trainees will assist senior engineers with real-world projects, helping them develop technical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills essential for a career in Electrical and Controls Engineering.
🛠️ Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing electrical schematics, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical
- Support in the design of control panels and selection of electrical components
- Learn and contribute to PLC/HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Participate in design reviews, project documentation, and testing processes (FAT, troubleshooting)
- Review project documentation – P&IDs, I/O lists, BOMs, client specs
- Adhere to engineering standards, safety guidelines, and quality procedures
- Maintain accurate design records and collaborate with cross-functional teams
📘 Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
- Basic understanding of control systems, automation, and electrical design
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools is a plus
- Exposure to PLC/HMI systems through academic work or internships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to engineering excellence
