Job Description
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will handle technical cases raised by customers, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role involves working across web, chat, email, and direct calls to ensure timely issue resolution and a great customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, Windows scripting, and PowerShell.
- Perform server administration across Windows and Unix platforms.
- Configure user permissions, domain policies, and SUDO policies.
- Support cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, VMWare, and Amazon EC2.
- Troubleshoot using protocols like HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, REST.
- Utilize tools like Wireshark, Traceroute for debugging.
- Analyze log files and apply root cause isolation.
- Collaborate with teams for incident, defect, and escalation management.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in customer-facing technical support.
- Strong understanding of server administration and debugging.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
