🧰 Job Description – Associate Project Engineer I
As an Associate Project Engineer, you will contribute to the end-to-end technical delivery of AspenTech’s digital grid management systems. Your role involves system design, integration, installation, testing, and commissioning of SCADA & HMI systems at customer locations.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Understand technical project requirements via customer and internal team interactions.
- Plan and implement hardware & software systems as per customer specifications.
- Execute integration of SCADA, RTUs, HMI, ICCP, and communication protocols (IEC104/101/DNP3).
- Support testing, installation, configuration, and commissioning of systems.
- Create and maintain project documentation and training materials.
- Handle multiple projects with adherence to quality and timeline.
- Travel to client sites (domestic/international) up to 20% as required.
🧪 Required Skills & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, EEE, ECE, or related.
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience with SCADA systems and industrial protocols.
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), RDBMS, ODBC, and networking.
- Understanding of operating systems and real-time applications.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
