✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with network protocols, network equipment testing, and debugging.
- Familiarity with automation scripting using Python or C++.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of test methodologies, test planning, and test case creation.
- Hands-on experience in live network environments such as ISPs or enterprise networks.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems and network troubleshooting.
- Exposure to automation in network testing and deployment scenarios.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute test plans for networking hardware/software.
- Build testbeds to validate Google’s networking infrastructure.
- Automate testing using custom-built tools and frameworks.
- Support development, validation, and release certification of networking features.
- Identify and prioritize test cases based on release risk and feature stability.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network test engineering within the team.
