Job Description:
Optum is hiring a Collections Representative to join their team in Hyderabad. As an Associate Collections Representative, you will manage accounts receivable, analyze insurance balances, resolve claims, and work directly with clients, patients, and payers to ensure the efficient and timely completion of claim payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review outstanding insurance balances and resolve claim issues
- Analyze and improve first-pass denial rates
- Ensure accounts receivable is processed in a timely manner
- Collaborate with payers, clients, and patients to finalize claims
- Provide suggestions for process improvements based on data trends
Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate (BE/B.Tech not eligible)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Functional knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to analyze EOBs and claim-level denials
