🔹 Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Optum, you will:
- Build and manage GitHub Runners in Public Cloud and automation tools.
- Ensure scalable, reusable pipelines aligned with best practices.
- Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitHub-native tooling.
- Apply AI-assisted development techniques for faster coding, testing, and documentation.
- Work with LLM-based tools, agentic frameworks, RAG, vector databases, and MCP.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with security, DevOps, and development teams to implement GitHub Actions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, flexibility rules, and work environment directives.
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (Computer Science/Engineering or related field).
- Strong knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon CodeWhisperer, Windsurf.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Node.js.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC concepts.
- Ability to create effective prompts for generative AI models.
