Job Description – Associate Support Engineer
As an Associate Support Engineer at Precisely, you will provide first-level technical support to customers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth functioning of Precisely products. This role requires customer-facing communication skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and flexibility to work in different shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, documenting issues in the case tracking system.
- Troubleshoot technical problems, analyze diagnostic information, and drive resolution within SLA timelines.
- Escalate critical issues to internal teams and ensure follow-up until closure.
- Assist in product demonstrations, installations, and upgrades remotely.
- Collaborate with development and product management teams for issue resolution and feature enhancements.
- Create FAQs, documentation, and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Support global teams across EMEA, APAC, and the USA.
- Continuously learn new technologies and support additional Precisely products.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech or equivalent degree.
- Strong communication skills (English proficiency is mandatory).
- Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Technical knowledge in:
- Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, AS400, AIX, Mainframe
- Databases: Oracle, MS SQL
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SAP
- Basic programming skills in Java, Python, C, C++, C#.
- Networking and security knowledge (preferred).
- Knowledge of Sterling B2B Integrator or Sterling File Gateway is an advantage.
