Role Overview – Apprentice (Operations)
As an Apprentice in Operations, you will be part of the Technology & Operations (T&O) team – the backbone of Standard Chartered. This program focuses on equipping fresh graduates with real-world banking and operations experience. Apprentices will handle diverse financial processes, data-driven decision-making, process automation, and transaction management, while ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on data-driven decision-making and automation within banking operations.
- Support seamless execution of complex financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance, process simplification, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Participate in real-life business problem solving.
- Collaborate with global teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Apprenticeship Programme (12 Months)
During the 12-month structured program, you will gain exposure to:

- Good communication (English – written & verbal).
- Knowledge of banking concepts is an added advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates from B.Com (all streams), BBA, BA Economics, B.Sc Computer Science.
- Final-year students (2023, 2024, 2025 batches) eligible.
- Must be able to join from March 2025 onwards.
- Permanent legal right to work in India.
