Job Overview
TransUnion is looking for a passionate Analyst with excellent quantitative and analytical skills. As an analyst, you will engage in projects related to marketing effectiveness, ROI, brand equity, and more. You will be working alongside senior data scientists to tackle complex problems and gain valuable exposure to the world of big data and marketing analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights related to marketing, media, and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with data scientists and consultants to identify insights, create models, and communicate complex findings to stakeholders in an understandable way.
- Implement solutions for marketing effectiveness, including ROI analysis, segmentation, pricing models, and attribution modeling.
- Assist in building and refining multi-touch attribution models (MTA) and marketing mix models (MMM) using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Work with data operations and engineering teams to ensure that data models are effective, rigorous, and accurate.
- Generate reports on model results and provide clients with insightful recommendations on forecasting, optimization, and simulation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required) in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or any Engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts such as Multivariate Regression, Time-series Analysis, Bayesian statistics, and Machine Learning.
- Data analytics skills with proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to convey insights effectively.
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in quantitative analytics and marketing metrics is helpful, but not mandatory.
